Xmas Shopping
Go to the allotment, get two of the lemon trees from the greenhouse (one's a present, the other's to be an unusual Christmas tree); get the sprouts, cabbage, turnip and parsnips for Christmas dinner. Go to Town, presents and wrapping paper, quick Flickrmeet. Tidy house, hoover, all that. Then tomorrow, go to Jarrow collect the capon, cook the capon, prepare the other bits of the dinner....
So, busy, but if you leave Christmas until the last minute, it's actually quite good fun. You know, like in the old films: they always do the shopping on Christmas Eve. It's a holiday: it's to be enjoyed.
